New features
Switch issue watcher notifications
Users can now switch on and off notification preferences for issue watchers, allowing them to stay informed about relevant updates or minimizing unnecessary distractions.
Improvements
Update notification for issue watchers
Issue watchers will now receive more detailed update notifications, including information about the specific action that took place, such as changes in the Approval Path, ensuring that they have clear visibility into the updates. It allows them to stay informed about the actions performed within the approval process, such as approval starts or decisions (approve or reject).
In Confluence, it's important to note that notifications cannot be sent to watchers in the Approval Path due to existing limitations with the Confluence API.
Empty group warning (group step)
A warning message is now displayed stating "Currently, the group is empty. No one can approve this step" when a group step is active and the group is empty (excluding the creator if selected).
[QA-81] Approval path - Jira - 7 May 2023 (1).mp4Additionally, if the "Skip the group from the approval path if it doesn't contain any users" option is checked in the group step definition, the group will be skipped from the approval path without displaying the message about an empty group.
