External Watch lets external users subscribe to the pages they’ve given them access to. That’s good for them because it saves them time. It’s good for you because it makes collaboration more immediate so that work can progress faster.
On each shared page Watch for Changes section could be found. Subscribe button allows logged in users subscribe to the pages.
Subscription rules depend on share configuration.
A list of all user subscriptions is available on the Dashboard.
Unsubscribe button allows unsubscribe for changes.
Subscription rules
All non restricted page changes (title, description, page moved) for all non expired share are notified to users subscribed to the page.
Additionally, based on share configuration, user will receive notification about:
comment created
comment content updated
comment deleted
when View comments checked
attachment created
attachment deleted
when View attachments checked
label created
label deleted
when View page labels checked
when Share child pages checked and child page subscribed
with labels -
