Take action on approvals right from Slack
Your approvals now meet your team where they already are. With the new Slack integration, approvers get notified the moment a decision is waiting on them, and can approve, reject, or act on it without ever leaving Slack.
No more hopping back into Jira to keep work moving.
Signal urgency with Priority Tags
Help your team focus on what matters most. Teams can now assign distinct priority (such as Low, Medium, or High) to approval definitions. These tags visually signal the urgency of each request, allowing busy approvers to quickly prioritize their pending queues and eliminate operational bottlenecks.
Define exactly when a parallel step passes or fails
Parallel groups just got a lot more flexible. With Custom Rules, you set the exact number of approvals required for a step to pass and the exact number of rejections that fail it. So your approval logic matches how your team actually makes decisions, not the other way around.
What else changed? 🛠️
Updated approval step reassignment permissions to restrict access for JSM customers and require JSM agents to perform reassignments exclusively through the Agent View.
