You can manage the Approval Path definition list in the Jira space.
To open the Approval Path, click the Approval Path button on the top panel of the space.
You can view, add, and remove approval definitions.
Changing the approval definition will not affect started approval paths.
Views
Approvals
In the “Approvals” tab, you can see a list of approvals in the space.
The approvals can be filtered by:
Approval name
Definition
Status (In progress, Approved, Rejected, Archived, Expired, Up-to-date, Any)
Add more filters +
JQL search
By using Add more filters, you can customize your search filter.
It can be further specified if a user is looking for an awaiting decision, rejection, or approval by a user/group/email/work item field and the selected user.
By default, the approvals shown are “up-to-date”.
Now you can save filters and share with your organization.
From the Approvals List, the user can see:
Approval Name
The Originator of the approval
Current Step’s owner: who is supposed to take action now
Space
The Work Item of origin
Approval Status
Approval Progress
Expiration date (if set)
Start time and date
Modified time and date
Quick Action Buttons:
Approve
Reject
Send a notification
Open the approval in a work item
Archive the approval
Delete the approval
How to find your pending approvals?
To view your pending approvals, simply click the My pending approvals () icon.
Alternatively, you can apply the filter Awaiting decisions by - user name. This is especially useful when searching for pending approvals assigned to another user.
Activity
In the “Activity” tab, you can see a list of all actions in the space.
Definitions
In the “Definitions” tab, there is a list of definitions available in the space. You can also add new definitions and edit existing ones. By clicking the checkbox “Show global definitions”, you can also view global definitions.
Conditions
In the “Conditions” tab, there is a list of conditions available in the space. You can also add new conditions and edit existing ones.
You can filter by name. By default, all active conditions from the current space and global (in view-only mode) are shown.
Delegate
The "Delegate" tab displays a roster of available delegations within the space. Only active delegations (enabled and in the date range) are shown by default. You can also add new delegations and edit existing ones.
You can filter it by:
Delegators,
Delegates,
Groups.
