Sharing a page is only useful if the person on the other end can actually read what's on it. Until now, anything that didn't render inline meant a download, and a download means a stray file in someone's folder, opened in whatever their machine happens to default to.
Shared pages now have a full-screen preview. Images, video, and audio open directly in the browser, with zoom controls and keyboard navigation for moving between them.
Text-based files open in place too, across 17 formats. The predictable ones are covered (.txt, .md, .csv, .tsv, .json, .xml, .html), but so are logs, config files, and scripts: .log, .yaml, .yml, .ini, .conf, .config, .properties, .sql, .sh, .bat.

Control what page details external viewers see
Page Customization gets more granular. A new Page Panel setting lets you manage metadata visibility (author and creation details), and a refined Sticky Header section adds toggles for breadcrumbs and last-updated timestamps, so each share shows exactly the context you want, nothing more.
Also, an optional Table of Contents panel can now be switched on for shared pages, so readers jump straight to the section they came for instead of scrolling past everything above it.

Dark Mode π
Dark Mode is now supported across the app, with a theme toggle that remembers what each viewer chose. Set it once and it stays set.
What else changed? π οΈ
Freshly shared Confluence pages now load safely with a temporary notice if Confluence is still indexing child pages in the background, preventing blank screens or errors.
Optimized the shared page header layout to prevent rendering empty elements when the title, owner, or status are missing for a cleaner look.
For customers who also use Macro Pack: embedded PDFs on shared pages now open in the Macro Pack PDF viewer, and Macro Pack supported files can be opened in preview, so Macro Pack content displays consistently wherever it appears on a shared page.
