Ask your shared pages a question 🔍

Finding something in a shared space used to mean guessing the right keyword. Now external readers can just ask. AI-powered search turns a plain-language question into several targeted searches, merges what comes back, and puts a short written summary above the ranked results.

The terms the AI actually searched for are picked out in bold, which often explains why a page with no obvious keyword match turned up.

You choose the provider and stay in control of the spend. Anthropic, OpenAI and Groq are supported directly, or OpenRouter gives you several models through one key. A monthly token budget caps what your site can spend, and a Data sharing tab decides exactly what leaves your instance. Viewer identity never does.

Links people can actually read 🔗

Share URLs no longer look like a database dump.

The Readable link option adds the page title to the share URL, so the address says what it points to. The title part is cosmetic, so renaming the page, or editing the title in the URL, does not break a link that someone has already saved or shared.

An answer to "is anyone reading this?" 📊

The new Summary tab turns your share activity into something you can actually look at.

Page views, shares created, active external users, and events, each with the change against the previous period. Charts showing what people did and when. Lists of your most viewed shares and your most recent ones.

SSO that lands where you want it 🔐

Signing in through SSO used to drop everyone on the dashboard, even when your whole external audience is really there for one shared space. Each SSO configuration can now define its own landing page, so people arrive where you actually want them.

Small things your readers will notice ✨

A few changes that make shared pages nicer to be on.

  • Readers can now star any page and find it again on a Starred tab in their dashboard.

  • Code blocks picked up a copy button, so nobody has to select a snippet by hand.

  • The external user dashboard got rebuilt so all four tabs work the same way, with search, filters, sortable columns, and paging.

  • And corporate SSO connections moved out of the dashboard into Account settings → Workspaces, where they can be reviewed and disconnected properly.

What else changed? 🛠️

  • Improved the security of API key storage. Keys are now shown only once at creation and appear as a fingerprint afterwards, with existing keys continuing to work without any change on your side.

  • Improved the API Keys list in Global Settings with Status and Creator filters, server-side sorting, and pagination.

  • Replaced the label fields for child pages and search with a tag-based picker that suggests labels already used in the space and validates entries against Confluence's own label rules.

  • Added an option to choose how the Jira Work Items macro is displayed on shared pages, configurable per share or across a space.

  • Improved the share creation, editing, and email screens, which now open in full screen with a standard Confluence title bar and close button.

  • Added a view count to the share form and a preview that follows your Confluence light or dark theme.

  • Added rendering for Karma Page Builder content on shared pages, covering both the Forge and Connect versions of the macro.

  • Improved how Macro Pack macros load on shared pages, with a loading indicator while they initialize and more accurate sizing once they render.

  • Improved search result highlighting for terms containing special characters.
