ESFC - July 2026

Changes

  • Added a fully customizable, sticky announcement banner to the top of shared pages, configurable via the Page Customization tab.

  • Freshly shared Confluence pages now load safely with a temporary notice if Confluence is still indexing child pages in the background, preventing blank screens or errors.

  • Added an optional Table of Contents (TOC) panel to shared pages for easier navigation, which you can enable via the Page Customization settings.

  • Optimized the shared page header layout to prevent rendering empty elements when the title, owner, or status are missing for a cleaner look.

  • Added preview support for text-based files on shared pages, so they now open
in place instead of downloading on click. Supported formats: .txt, .log, .md,
.csv, .tsv, .json, .xml, .html, .yaml, .yml, .ini, .conf, .config, .properties, .sql, .sh, and .bat.

  • Added full Dark Mode support across the entire application with a new persistent theme toggle.

  • For customers who also use Macro Pack: embedded PDFs on shared pages now open in the Macro Pack PDF viewer, and Macro Pack supported files can be opened in preview, so Macro Pack content displays consistently wherever it appears on a shared page.

Bug Fixes

  • Fixed an issue to ensure that custom panels on shared pages correctly display background colors, standard emojis, and Atlassian icons.

  • Fixed an issue on shared pages where wide tables with automatic column widths were rendered incorrectly, causing some columns to appear extremely narrow.

  • We fixed an issue where links inside shared documents embedded on custom domains were blocked.

  • Fixed an issue where in-line LaTeX macros were incorrectly forced onto a separate line in External Share due to Confluence formatting.

  • Fixed an issue where links within the Content Properties Report macro navigated outside the iframe instead of staying contained.

  • Fixed an issue where Confluence Expand macros appeared automatically expanded on shared pages, ensuring they now load collapsed by default with improved header clickability and standard chevron icons.
