ESFC - August 2026

ESFC - August 2026

Changes

  • Enhanced IP restrictions by allowing granular configuration at the space configuration and individual share levels.

  • Significantly improved shared page display performance, resulting in much faster load times for complex pages containing multiple images, macros, and links.

  • Redesigned the mobile experience for shared pages to match the native Confluence app, introducing a dynamic top bar, a floating bottom navigation menu, and responsive layout improvements that eliminate awkward horizontal scrolling.

Bug Fixes

  • Fixed an issue where label links in the Popular Labels Macro and Labels List Macros resulted in 404 errors or internal redirects, ensuring all labels now correctly route to the shared Labelled Content page.

  • Fixed an issue where legacy Confluence "pretty URL" page links (/display/...) failed to resolve on external shares.

  • Fixed an issue where clicking images embedded via the Include Page Macro displayed an error in the gallery instead of the image preview.

  • Resolved an issue with missing or incorrectly rendered emojis by integrating Atlassian's native emoji service.

  • Fixed an issue with incorrect user avatars and timestamps in shared comments, ensuring external comments consistently display the app icon and all threads are accurately sorted by their original creation date.

  • Fixed an issue where custom domains saved with capital letters caused shared links to break.

  • Fixed an issue where the Content Properties Report macro incorrectly displayed pages that lacked the Page Properties macro, ensuring the shared report now accurately matches native Confluence behavior.

  • Added user-facing notices and graceful handling for Confluence 429 rate limit errors when fetching attachments, ensuring pages remain fully viewable while explaining temporary loading limitations.
