Page Customization

Page Customization

Overview

Page Customization allows you to control the look and feel of your externally shared Confluence pages. You can customize elements such as colors, headers, footers, icons, and logos to ensure that shared pages reflect your brand identity.

All page customization settings are managed centrally within the External Share for Confluence app and can be reused across different external shares.

Create Page Customization Types

To access the Page Customization tab, go to:
Apps → External Share for Confluence → Global Settings → Page Customization

In the Page Customization tab, admins can create multiple page customization types.
Each type represents a reusable design configuration, such as different color palettes, layouts, or branding styles.

Apply a Customization to an External Share

When creating an external share link, you can choose which page customization type to apply to that share.

Customization is selected per external share link, regardless of the space or page being shared. This makes it easy to use different designs for different audiences or purposes, even when sharing content from the same space.

If no customization type is selected, the global default appearance is applied automatically.
