External Share for Jira Global Settings can be found on the Jira top panel "Apps" | External Share for Jira Global Settings can be found under "Manage apps" → "Old Street Solutions" → External Share |
There's also a link in Project Setting pages (this link is only visible to Jira administrators)
The Global Settings menu "View Links" section allows filtering and searching on all link in all Projects
The Global Settings menu contains the "Permissions" section to restrict users that can create, edit and delete External Share links
By default, any logged-in user is able to create, edit and delete External Share links in any Project they have permission to access
Users from selected groups or project roles can access access External Share.
Permission access examples
- If you restrict access to group
X
and leave project role empty then all users from group X will have access to External Share - If you restrict access to group
X
and group Y and leave project role empty then all users from group X or group Y will have access to External Share - If you restrict access to role
K
and leave group empty then all users from role K will have access to External Share - If you restrict access to role K and role
V
and leave group empty then all users from role K or role V will have access to External Share - If you restrict access to group
X
and group Y and role K and roleV
then all users from group X or group Y or role K or role V will have access to External Share
