How to access global settings

To find the External Share for Jira Global Settings :

1.Click “Apps” in the menu at the top of the page. You can also click the External Share button in the project side panel.

 

2.Click “Global Settings”

 

 

 

The Global Settings tab "View Links" allows filtering and searching on all links in all Projects:

 

In the “Project Configuration” tab you can control all project configurations:

Permissions

In the "Permissions" tab you can restrict users that can create, edit and delete External Share links:

Permission access examples, if you restrict access to

  1. group empty and project role empty then all users will have access to External Share

  2. group X and leave project role empty then all users from group X will have access to External Share

  3. group X and group Y and leave project role empty then all users from group X or group Y will have access to External Share

  4. role K and leave the group empty then all users from role K will have access to External Share

  5. role K and role V and leave group empty then all users from role K or role V will have access to External Share

  6. group X and group Y and role K and role V then all users from group X or group Y or role K or role V will have access to External Share

Access

  • In the Access tab, you can you can limit the access of external share users depending on their IP addresses.

Custom email

In the “Custom email” tab you can set your custom email.

Email template

Page customization

In the “Page Customization” tab, you can customize shared pages: disable dark mode, add custom header, change its colour and hide it, hide subscribe button, add custom logo, favicon and Google Analytics Measurement ID.

SSO Configuration

Other

In the “Others” tab you can set a custom Content Security Policy to allow embedding External Share links in iframes. (more details: https://warsaw-dynamics.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/ESFJ/pages/116196323 )

Actions

In the Global Settings, you can delete all links.
