Summary

In this release, we have improved the overall experience of sharing content externally, especially around external share links, macros, page customization and video display. As for bug fixes, we resolved multiple display issues on shared pages and improved functionality around attachments and child page labeling.

Improvements

Improved Logic for Inactive Owners of Shared Pages IMPROVED

We have enhanced handling of shared pages created by deactivated users. When the owner of a shared page is deactivated, the page becomes inaccessible. Upon reactivation and after the scheduled update, access to the shared page is restored

Improved Table Rendering IMPROVED

Tables in shared pages are now displaying just as they do in the original Confluence page. Scope of improvements included:

- Added support for legacy text colors
- Consistent display for tables on pages with and without layouts
- Proper rendering within layouts
- Full compatibility with both full-width and fixed-width pages
- Resolution-independent behavior matching Confluence appearance

Improved handling of external share links for users with no space access IMPROVED

We enhanced how external share links behave when the user who last modified a share loses access to a space. A clear message is now displayed. If a fallback user ID is set, the page will still be shown, but the share will be marked as inactive.

Improved display of macros on shared page IMPROVED

We improved how Jira data is displayed on externally shared Confluence pages and checked compatibility with various available Jira macros, including:

• Issue URL and URL inline, Issue Card

• Agile Wallboard Gadget, Jira issue/filter, Jira issues list

• Jira Legacy (multiple, single, table)

• Jira Timeline, Jira issues link (List view) and more.

Improved Page Customization Features IMPROVED

This update includes several enhancements for page customization:

Footer links color selection

 

• Customizable navigation tree and Subscribe button colors

• Added ‘Public’ font to available fonts

• Customizable password box background

• Added colors selection(hovering) for footer links and enhance their display

• Increased margins for default header buttons

• Prevented header button position change on hover

Improved video display on shared page IMPROVED

We have enhanced display and functionality of videos on shared pages, ensuring they work and display similarly to Confluence pages.

Bug Fixes

Fixed display issues on shared pages FIXED

• Fixed scroll navigation tree display on shared pages

• Fixed table content display on shared pages

• Fixed incorrect display of elements including gaps, spacing, attachments, short links of page and Jira links

Fixed Attachment share page issue FIXED

We fixed the issue with the "Send via Email" feature on the Attachment Page. Now, sending the attachment list and attachments via email works correctly for both users and admins, across page, space, global settings, and personal view levels.

Fixed issues on child pages FIXED

We fixed an issue where users were unable to add labels to shared child pages unless the "Share child pages" checkbox was reactivated. Now, once the checkbox is active, users can add labels with or without values without needing to reactivate the checkbox.
