Summary

In this release, we introduced the option to approve directly from email notifications without logging into Jira, updated documentation with a detailed admin guide, and resolved an issue with broken approval lists in the customer portal.

New Features

Added option to approve directly from emails without logging in NEW

We developed a feature enabling users to take an approval action directly from email notifications without logging into Jira. From Global Settings → General → Notifications, we have added a configuration sub-option for administrators titled Enable actions without login under the existing Enable action buttons in notification emails setting.

Users can receive email notifications with actionable Approve/Reject/Abstain buttons.

Improvements

Updated documentation IMPROVED

We have created and updated a Guide for Global and Project Admins. It directs readers to existing relevant resources and offers additional insights that are particularly crucial for administrators.

This guide highlights tips and precautions, covering details of Approval Path for Jira features.

Bug Fixes

Fixed approval list issue in JSM FIXED

Previously, approval lists were broken when viewed from the customer portal (Help Center). This issue has now been resolved, and approval lists appear correctly without any problems.
