Personal View
Any user other than the global admin with access to the approval path will have a Personal view.
To access Personal View on your Jira instance, go to Apps → Approval Path:
Approvals
The approvals can be filtered by:
Approval name
Definition
Status (In progress, Approved, Rejected, Archived, Expired, Up-to-date, Any)
Space
JQL search
Delegation
More filters
By using Add more filters, you can customize your search filter.
It can be further specified if a user is looking for an awaiting decision, rejection, or approval by a user/group/email/work item field and a selected user.
The user can save filters (private only).
From the Approvals List, the user can see all approvals assigned to them that require their action. This panel helps track pending steps and provides context for each approval.
Here you can see:
Approval name
Originator: the person who started this approval
Current Step of the approval
Space of origin
Work item in which the approval was started
Approval status
Approval progress
Expiration of the approval (if set)
Start date
Last modified
Actions (once hovered):

Users can download the approval list as a CSV file

The Activity tab provides a historical overview of approvals relevant to the user.

Use case:
If a user wants to track the history of approvals they acted on, were part of, or originated, this tab provides a timeline or log-style view, helping users monitor activity, follow up, and audit approvals.
Users can download the approvals' activity list as a CSV file
Delegate
Here, a user can see and create their delegations.
The Delegation feature allows internal approvers to delegate their approval steps to another user during their absence or other circumstances. This functionality ensures the continuity of the approval process by allowing another user, the delegatee, to act on the delegator's behalf.
A normal user can delegate only their steps to other users, but cannot make delegations for others. To learn more about Delegations, visit this page.
Preferences
The preferences feature allows users to customize their own preferences for how they want the Approval Path to be displayed on the work item level.
A user with admin permissions will have broader access to Approval Path’s features.
