Summary
In this release, we’re excited to introduce our integration with Lango translator, significant improvements including toggle button in dark mode and some API enhancements. As for bug fixes, we have fixed issues with shares, text overflow, and multiple activation emails for SAML-secured shares.
New Features
Integration with Lango Translator NEW
Now External Share for Confluence offers support for with Lango app to provide multi-language support for externally shared Confluence pages. This integration does not compromise the security or functionality of existing features.
Improvements
Improved dark mode interface IMPROVED
We implemented a toggle button which now lets users switch between light and dark themes. Its visibility can be controlled via Global Settings → Page Customization tab.
When Dark Mode is disabled in Page Customization, the button should not appear on the page.
When Dark Mode is enabled, the button toggles the page’s theme between light and dark modes.
Confluence API enhancements IMPROVED
We have refactored all of our endpoints as a part of Confluence Rest V2 API migration. The scope of updates included access restrictions, comment retrieval and deletion, attachment handling and ensuring seamless editing of pages and properties.
Bug Fixes
Fixed issue with creating shares for newly created pages FIXED
Previously, it was impossible to create a share for a newly created page within the first few minutes of creation. Attempting to do so resulted in an error. This issue has been resolved.
Fixed overflowing text from the frame FIXED
We have fixed an issue where the long description text was overflowing from the Fix Versions field.
Fixed issue with multiple account activation emails FIXED
Previously, users who hadn’t confirmed their accounts received multiple account activation emails every time they opened a share secured with SAML. This issue has been resolved, ensuring users no longer receive multiple activation emails.
