Space Settings
To find External Share for Confluence Space Settings click the “External Share” button in the left menu (APPS)
Another way to open Space Settings:
Go to Space Settings → App Links → External Share
Go to the Space Configuration tab
The "Enable External Share for this space" setting can be used to disable all links in a particular Space.
This can be very useful if you have a private space (e.g. HR team) that you want to make sure never generates any External Share links.
If you have existing links in a Space, when you disable External Share those links will not be deleted but will be disabled:
If anyone tries to access an existing link they will see the following message:
If External Share is re-enabled for that Space, then all links will function again. This is useful if you want to quickly secure a Space, but don't want to delete all the links.
In space configuration, you can decide which link options will be accessible.
General tab
You can toggle named links, comments, attachments, child pages and labels. You can control if unsupported macros will be visible on a shared page or if relevant placeholder information will be displayed at their position in content.
Selected user tab
You can restrict email addresses or domains for the selected user functionality. While creating a link only the listed addresses/domains will be allowed to be used.
Defaults tab
You can choose which options will be selected by default when creating a new link.
When "selected user" is selected as default, but the user creating the link does not enter an email address or deselect this option, the link cannot be opened.
Security tab
You can enforce security policies for new and updated shares, define link expiration dates, and require a password to view the link.
Unlike link settings, space settings refer to all links in a space

Audit tab
Space configuration details: when and by who it was created and last time updated.
